Wanda flower crown with woven blue, green and ivory flowers in vintage Swistraw. Vintage pastel flower headband. Custom flower headband.

$25.00
Wanda is the sweetest of the ladies. She never drives too fast, only drinks at cocktail hour and bowl a perfect game. Her style is sunny and bright with a dash of "how do you do". She is always ready for early brunch, late lunch or (don't tell anyone) midnight skinny dipping.

This original Swistraw flower headband will be the perfect addition to your sashay. Each flower is woven in vintage swistraw in colors bright blue, green and ivory on a comfortable slim metal headband. Each flower is woven on a vintage flower loom and 2 inches to 2 1/4.

A quick word about vintage Swistraw (also known these days as raffia).
In the 1960s and 1970s Swistraw was used by the crafty ladies to make flowers, jewelry and even wreaths. Swistraw was raffia before raffia was raffia!
The Swistraw gods have long ago stopped creating genuine Swistraw (about 40 years ago) and whatever colors and types of this rayon wonderfulness that can be found these days ... well, that is all she wrote ladies and gentlemen.

Love Wanda but would like her in a different color? Bigger flowers? Yes to both.
Custom headbands are available and I would love to talk to you about all the colors available.

With this flower headband and a swish in your step you will be all ... "hello and how do you do?".
